Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the ambassador to the UK, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. He shared this news on social media on Saturday, March 1, along with a photo from the meeting to show his support for the president. He also expressed his support and noted that the war reveals who our true allies are. "This war serves as a test of our resilience and bravery. It unveils both our strength and the loyalty of our genuine allies. In the coming days, London will host critical discussions regarding Ukraine and the support we require. The path ahead will be challenging, but together we will navigate all obstacles. It will be tough, but united we will overcome," he stated.

Ukraine and the UK have signed an agreement for an emergency loan of £2.26 billion (approximately $3.2 billion) to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities. The loan will be repaid from profits generated by frozen assets of the Russian Federation.
