President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the airstrike by Russian forces on a boarding school in the town of Sudzha, Kursk region, Russia. The corresponding statement and video from the scene were shared by the Ukrainian leader on social media X on Saturday, February 1.   "That’s how Russia fights. Sudzha, Kursk region, Russian territory. A boarding school with civilians preparing for evacuation. A Russian aerial bomb. They destroyed the building despite the presence of dozens of civilians. Russia fought this way decades ago against Chechnya. They killed Syrians in the same manner. Russian bombs are also demolishing Ukrainian homes.   Zelensky reminded everyone that Russia is "a state devoid of civilization."   "This is evil that will not stop on its own. But if we act decisively and strongly, even Russia can be made to cease its aggression. This is necessary to protect the world from Russian bombs," the president emphasized.

      Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of 22:00 in Sudzha, there are four confirmed dead and four injured.   "During the debris clearing operations, 84 civilians were rescued and provided with medical assistance, their health condition is satisfactory... All those in need of additional medical care will be promptly evacuated to medical facilities within Ukraine."   It should be noted that today the Russian army deliberately dropped a guided bomb on a boarding school with civilians in Sudzha. Approximately 100 civilians could have been in the building.   The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a command post of the Russians in the Kursk region
