  • continuing support for Ukraine,
  • preparation of a new EU sanctions package,
  • strengthening military-technical cooperation,
  • joint projects in the defense industry.
Zelensky also highlighted Lithuania's leadership in advocating for Ukraine's path to the European Union and NATO.   In turn, Skvernelis emphasized during the conversation that Lithuania and its parliament are ready to continue providing defense and humanitarian support to Ukraine, as well as to assist in the rehabilitation of military media and the restoration of infrastructure that has been destroyed or damaged due to Russian shelling.   "We perceive peace as the complete liberation of Ukrainian territories, including Crimea, punishment for the dictator for war crimes, holding him accountable legally and financially, and Ukraine's full membership in NATO and the EU," said the Lithuanian speaker.   It is worth noting that Lithuania has delivered a new batch of military assistance to Ukraine, including drones produced in Lithuania, thermal imagers, and five-ton telescopic loaders for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.   Lithuania will increase its defense spending to nearly 4% of GDP.
