Zelensky discussed efforts to finalize an agreement with the United States.

The governments of Ukraine and the United States are developing a draft agreement for the control of rare earth resources. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in an evening address on Friday, February 21.   In his view, the outcome should be fair.   The head of state noted that today, teams from Ukraine and the U.S. are working on the draft agreement between the governments.   "This is an agreement that could enhance our relations, and importantly - the details should be arranged so that it can work. I am hopeful for a result - a fair result," Zelensky said.   Earlier, media reported that officials from Ukraine and the U.S. negotiated through the night until the morning of February 20, trying to finalize an agreement on subsoil resources, according to Axios.
