In his address on the Day of Unity of Ukraine, held at St. Sophia Square in Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the crucial importance of national unity.

"Millions of us - together. And together we have been able to withstand, preserve Ukraine, repel the occupier, and hold back this great invasion together. In this word - 'together' - lies the strength of Ukrainians. This is about us, about what we are capable of when we choose not our own ambitions, but choose Ukraine. We choose its interests. When we choose not discord, but a sword. To defend what is ours. To protect our own. To defend with all our might," Zelensky said.

He underscored that February 24 became a significant test for the Ukrainian people, demonstrating true solidarity and readiness to fight.

Zelensky reminded that in the past, the Day of Unity has always symbolized unification, but it is precisely at this critical moment that Ukrainians have shown they can unite not only in words but also in actions.

The President expressed confidence that Ukraine will overcome all challenges and emphasized that the future of the country will be bright, with children and grandchildren celebrating this day in an independent and united state. He assured that Ukraine will maintain its territorial integrity and continue to develop as a peaceful, unified, and strong nation.
