Defenders repelled 14 assaults in the Kursk region.

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 72 combat engagements at the front. Our defenders are halting the enemy, maintaining their positions, and thwarting the Russians' plans. Meanwhile, the Russians continue to concentrate their efforts in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kursk directions. This was noted in the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday, March 2.

Border towns and villages of our state continue to be subjected to Russian artillery shelling. Today, the settlements of Timonovichi in the Chernihiv region; Horky, Korenok, and Petrushevka in the Sumy region were affected. Lutovka in the Kharkiv region came under airstrikes.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy made one attempt to advance towards our positions near the settlement of Zahryzovo, which was successfully repelled by Ukrainian defenders.

The aggressor attacked our troops' positions in the Lyman direction seven times near the settlements of Novoe and Novomykhailivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders successfully repelled three attacks from the enemy in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Hrihorivka, and Oleksandro-Shultine.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks on the defensive positions of our troops in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbinivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.

The enemy remains highly active in the Pokrovsk direction. Thirteen clashes of varying intensity occurred here today. Ukrainian soldiers repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Tarasivka, Luch, Pokrovsk, Kotlino, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Andriivka, and Ulakly. The settlements of Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, and Leontovychy were subjected to airstrikes.

Occupiers attempted to break through four times in the directions of Konstytutivka and Skudne in the Novopavlivsk direction, but were halted by our defenders. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Voskresenka and Yanvarske.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the aggressor carried out airstrikes in the areas of Hulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhne, and Pryyutne. Additionally, in the vicinity of the settlement of Pryvillya, our defense forces successfully repelled one enemy attack.

Fighting continues in the area of the settlement of Nesterianka in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Dniprovsk direction, the enemy stormed our defenders' positions twice, and one combat engagement is currently ongoing.

In the Kharkiv and Siversk directions, the enemy has not conducted any active operations since the start of the day.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 attacks from the invaders, with another eight combat engagements still ongoing. Furthermore, the enemy launched 10 airstrikes using 17 guided bombs.
