Explosions at the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant: The General Staff provided details about the attacks.

On the night of February 3, 2025, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, with support from other Defense Forces units, carried out strikes on two significant strategic facilities located in Russia - the Volgograd Oil Refinery "Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka" and the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These enterprises are key fuel suppliers for the Russian troops conducting aggression against Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, the primary oil processing units at the Volgograd refinery have been damaged, significantly complicating the production process.

Meanwhile, a large-scale fire continues at the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant, and the plant's operations have been temporarily suspended. Information regarding the exact extent of the damage and the results of the strikes is being clarified.

Russia experienced a tense night: air defense intercepted 70 Ukrainian drones, and explosions were heard in Rostov, Volgograd, and other regions.
