In just one day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1,600 occupiers, around 300 units of equipment, and 130 drones. This was reported by the General Staff on January 21.
Overall combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 21, 2025, are estimated to be around 822,030 personnel.
Since the beginning of the war, the total losses include:
- tanks - 9,833 (+12) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 20,477 (+23) units;
- artillery systems - 22,134 (+60) units;
- multiple launch rocket systems - 1,262 units;
- air defense systems - 1,050 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 369 units;
- helicopters - 331 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 22,898 (+130) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,051 units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive vehicles and fuel tankers - 34,682 (+194) units;
- special equipment - 3,710 (+4) units.
It is worth noting that the total losses of Russian troops for the year 2024 exceeded 434,000 personnel, stated the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
