Russian forces are intensifying pressure on the positions of the Defense Forces near Andriivka in the Donbas, particularly from Slovyanka and Petropavlivka. The enemy is attempting to break into the village, utilizing the wooded terrain and fortified lines. This was reported by analysts from DeepState on Sunday, February 2. Previously, a concentration of enemy infantry was observed on the northeastern outskirts of Andriivka. The Russian troops are trying to establish a foothold in the area, advancing in various directions, particularly through engineering and fortification structures between Andriivka and Shevchenkove. "Recently, everyone could see a 'red enclave' on the northeastern outskirts of Andriivka, which some perceived as a mistake or a glitch. In reality, this reflects the presence and consolidation of Russian infantry in the vicinity of the village, attempting to penetrate from different sides, even through the positions of the Defense Forces," the analysts noted. Ukrainian military forces are engaged in defensive battles, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. At the same time, Russians are concentrating their forces between the settlements of Ulakly and Dachne, which may indicate preparations for new attacks in this direction. It should be noted that in several settlements of the Komar and Kryvorizh communities in the Donetsk region, mandatory evacuation of families with children has been enforced. As is known, Russian troops are trying to encircle Pokrovsk from the south and north, but the occupiers' plans are failing.
