For the attack, the enemy utilized various types of missiles - air-launched, ground-launched, and sea-launched, as well as strike drones of the "Shahed" type and decoy drones of other types. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

The radio-technical troops of the Ukrainian Air Forces detected and tracked 184 enemy aerial targets. Among them:

According to preliminary data, as of 12:00, 113 aerial targets have been shot down:

  • Kyiv region;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • Poltava region;
  • Zhytomyr region;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region;
  • Zaporizhzhia.

Unfortunately, damage to energy facilities has been recorded. Information regarding the extent of the destruction and possible casualties is being clarified.

It is worth noting that Moldova confirmed the violation of its airspace by a Russian missile, while Romania denies it. Moldovan President Maia Sandu confirmed that during the attack on Ukraine on December 25, a Russian missile breached her country's airspace, whereas Romania rejects the claim that its territory was crossed by the missile.
