On the night of December 25, 2024, Russian occupation forces launched a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine's fuel and energy sector facilities. For the attack, the enemy utilized various types of missiles - air-launched, ground-launched, and sea-launched, as well as strike drones of the "Shahed" type and decoy drones of other types. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The radio-technical troops of the Ukrainian Air Forces detected and tracked 184 enemy aerial targets. Among them:
Anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were engaged to repel the aerial assault.
According to preliminary data, as of 12:00, 113 aerial targets have been shot down:

It is worth noting that Moldova confirmed the violation of its airspace by a Russian missile, while Romania denies it. Moldovan President Maia Sandu confirmed that during the attack on Ukraine on December 25, a Russian missile breached her country's airspace, whereas Romania rejects the claim that its territory was crossed by the missile.
