According to the order issued by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on January 11, approximately 50,000 servicemen from various branches and types of troops will be transferred to the Ground Forces to strengthen combat brigades and prepare for the start of the rotation process. This is stated in the article by "Ukrainian Truth" titled "8 Obvious and Unknown Facts about the Transfer of Specialists to Infantry - Analysis by UP".
"According to a reliable source from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this involves the transfer of approximately 50,000 servicemen. This accounts for 20% of all Ukrainian military personnel currently on the front lines, based on NYT figures," the report states.
The source, referring to information from UP, emphasizes that the mass transfer of servicemen marks the launch of the first rotation in three years of full-scale war.
"We need to do this to initiate the rotation mechanism. The resources currently being trained in training centers are only sufficient for minimal reinforcements of units, not for fully supplying the combat component. With these movements between troops and recruitment, we will be able to achieve this. A rotation plan has already been approved," the source shared with the publication.
When asked if this decision is related to possible negotiations or a freeze on the front line, the source noted that such measures are not anticipated. He assures that the Ukrainian army is capable of conducting rotations even amid active combat operations.
It is worth noting that North Korean armaments left the front line in the Kursk region of Russia in January, according to South Korean intelligence. According to South Korea's National Intelligence Service, North Korean troops were withdrawn from combat operations in the Kursk region in mid-January after significant losses.
