In February, Russian troops continued their offensive and occupied 192 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory, which is less than in previous months. This was reported by the analytical project DeepState on Saturday, March 1.
According to analysts, after the peak occupation of territory in November, there has been a decline in advancement over the three months of December, January, and February.
"Despite the slowdown, which has reached the level of July last year, the enemy continues to pay a heavy price in terms of personnel. Enemy activity has decreased, but it has not disappeared; the Defense Forces repel hundreds of attacks daily, which is a very significant indicator," the report states.

It is worth noting that in February, Russia lost over 36,000 soldiers killed and wounded. This roughly corresponds to the size of three motorized rifle divisions. Additionally, 331 enemy tanks were either destroyed or rendered inoperable. This is the highest figure in the last seven months.
