The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, had a phone conversation with the Commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, discussing the current situation at the front. This was reported by Oleksandr Syrskyi on Telegram.
"The main topic of our conversation was the current situation at the front. The enemy, utilizing a numerical advantage in personnel and equipment, continues to conduct intensive assault operations in several directions," he wrote.
Syrskyi emphasized that heavy and intense fighting continues along the entire front line, and added that during the conversation with General Cavoli, the necessity for increased military-technical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was reiterated.
During the conversation, the generals also discussed the urgent need for a strong response from the international community regarding the involvement of North Korean military personnel in combat operations on the side of the Russian Federation.
It was previously reported whether the West would send troops to Ukraine due to North Korean soldiers: Zelensky's response. Ukraine will not demand the presence of Western troops in the war, despite the involvement of North Korean military forces alongside Russia.
