The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the SAP prosecutor's claim for the seizure of a three-room apartment valued at over 1.9 million UAH, which was formally registered in the name of the mother of the deputy head of the Poltava regional TCC and SP, but was actually used by him and his family. The SAP press service reports that this decision was made on January 20.
During the investigation, it became clear, based on data from the NABU and other evidence collected by the prosecutor, that the official's mother purchased the apartment in central Poltava in 2023, despite lacking sufficient official income for such a purchase. It was established that the apartment was actually used by the official and his family.
Taking these facts into account, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit for the seizure of this asset, the origin of which raises legitimate doubts, in favor of the state. The court, after hearing all the arguments from both sides, supported the prosecutor's position and fully granted the claim.
The court's decision may be appealed within 30 days from the date of the full text of the verdict being issued.
