In Ukraine, on Sunday, December 1, meteorologists predict fog throughout the country, except in the southeastern region. This was reported by the Ukrainian
hydrometeorological center. During the night and day of December 1, fog is expected in the western, northern, central regions, as well as in Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv oblasts, with visibility ranging from 200 to 500 meters (Level I hazard, yellow). It will be cloudy with no precipitation. Temperatures will range from -2°C to +3°C at night and during the day (at night in the Carpathians, temperatures will be between -1°C and -6°C, while during the day in the western regions and the extreme south of the country, temperatures will vary from +3°C to +8°C),” the message states. It will be cloudy with some clearings. It is also noted that on December 2, fog is expected in Ukraine (except for the southern part), and on December 3, fog will also occur in the western regions during the night and morning. Nighttime temperatures will range from -0°C to -5°C, while daytime temperatures will vary from -2°C to +3°C; in the southern part and the western regions, temperatures will be around 0°C at night and between +1°C and +6°C during the day; in the Carpathians, nighttime temperatures will range from -5°C to -10°C, with daytime temperatures around 0°C. On December 4-5, no precipitation is expected, with only a slight chance of wet snow and rain in the western and Zhytomyr regions. Night and daytime temperatures will range from +3°C to -3°C (on the night of December 4, temperatures in the northern and central regions will be between -0°C and -6°C), with daytime temperatures in the southern regions reaching +1°C to +7°C. In Kyiv and the surrounding area, fog is expected on Sunday, with no precipitation. Night and daytime temperatures will range from -2°C to +3°C. On December 2-3, the capital and surrounding areas will be cloudy with some clearings, no precipitation, and occasional fog. Nighttime temperatures will be between -0°C and -5°C, while daytime temperatures will vary from -2°C to +3°C. No precipitation is expected on December 4-5. Night and daytime temperatures will range from +2°C to -3°C (on the night of December 4, temperatures will be between -0°C and -5°C). Earlier, media reported that Europe is expecting the
coldest winter in recent years. Temperatures will predominantly be below the levels observed in the last two years until March.
