Shahed drones attacked Khmelnytskyi region, resulting in one injured person.

At night, Russian forces launched drone attacks on Khmelnytskyi region. In the village of Pyrohovtsi, a house caught fire, and a woman was injured. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service on Sunday, March 2.

According to rescuers, a fire and destruction occurred on the grounds of a private house in the village of Pyrohovtsi due to a strike from an enemy UAV.

"The fire has been extinguished. Nine residential buildings were damaged by the shockwave. Unfortunately, a woman born in 1949 was injured," the State Emergency Service noted.

It is worth recalling that on the night of March 2, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 79 strike drones. The air defense forces destroyed 63 drones. As a result of the attack, Kharkiv, Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, and Zaporizhzhia were affected.
