A series of explosions occurred in the port of Berdyansk, according to the Ministry of Defense.

Explosions were heard in the Berdyansk port area on Wednesday, January 29. The occupiers reported a drone attack and a fire that was allegedly extinguished. This was reported by the Berdyansk City Military Administration (MVA) via Telegram.

"Explosions were heard in the port area of Berdyansk," the message states.

Residents of the city recorded drone flights and explosions near the port on the evening of January 29.

The statement from the gauleiter of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region mentions "at least three drones that were allegedly shot down." However, despite the so-called "departure" in the port area, a fire occurred, which was supposedly "operatively localized without consequences for the main activities of the enterprise."

As is known, at the end of December 2024, a car was blown up in Berdyansk that might have belonged to the "chairman of the council" of the city, Vasily Nechet.
