Starting from February 1, 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia announced a reduction in discounts for international trains heading to Poland and Hungary. This decision was made due to a significant increase in expenses for energy resources and materials, which has led to growing losses in passenger transportation. Last year, the company's losses amounted to 18 billion UAH. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Until January 31, 2025, tickets for international trains departing in February can be purchased at current prices through the mobile application and the official website of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The railway operator reports that despite the reduction in discounts, the tariffs for trains to Austria and Moldova will not be affected, and ticket prices for these destinations will remain at the same level.
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes that these changes are necessary due to economic circumstances and hopes for the understanding of passengers who use international services.
