Russians have nearly doubled the fare for VOT, according to the CNS.

Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are exerting financial pressure on the local population.
Россияне почти удвоили тарифы на проезд на ВОТ, сообщает ЦНС.
The Russian occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region have introduced new tariffs for railway transportation. Ticket prices have nearly doubled. This was reported on Tuesday, January 21, by the Center for National Resistance (ЦНС).   According to the information resource, transportation tariffs have surged since January 1, 2025. Specifically, traveling to Luhansk now costs 955 rubles, whereas last year the price was 585 rubles.   "However, the situation with the railways in Donetsk has not improved and remains catastrophic: flights are constantly canceled, and stations are abandoned," the report states.   A similar situation can be observed in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, where public transport prices have increased to 40 rubles. At the same time, there have been no so-called "improvements" for the local population.   "Thus, the occupiers do not intend to enhance living conditions for local residents but will instead increase financial pressure and show complete indifference to basic human needs in the region," the resource added.   Previously, it was reported that the occupying administrations began forming lists of residents of the captured territories of Ukraine for forced conscription into the ranks of the Russian army.   Moreover, in the temporarily occupied territories in 2025, the occupiers plan to strip Ukrainians without Russian citizenship of their right to reside.
