On the morning of December 25, Ukraine implemented power outages due to a massive missile attack by the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
"Due to the large-scale missile attack, measures have been taken to limit consumption," the statement reads.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated on Facebook that Russia is once again carrying out a massive attack on the energy sector.
"The transmission system operator is taking necessary measures to limit consumption in order to minimize negative impacts on the energy system," he wrote.
According to the minister, as soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will assess the damages incurred.
Recall that on the night of December 25, the Russians deployed strategic aviation. Additionally, Caliber cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea region.
In the morning, the Russians launched a massive missile attack on Kharkiv. Fires broke out at the impact sites, and there are casualties.
