Russia has experienced a record loss of automotive equipment.

In the shortest months of the year, Ukrainian forces have struck the highest number of Russian vehicles since the onset of the large-scale war—3,472 units of transport and fuel tankers, as well as 596 armored vehicles. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense on Saturday, March 1.

It is noted that in February, compared to January, the number of combat engagements slightly decreased: 3,274 against 5,087, while the number of enemy airstrikes on troop positions and frontline settlements increased.

In February, Russian tactical aviation dropped over 3,522 bombs (compared to about 2,400 in January).

Moreover, during the month, 331 enemy tanks were either destroyed or rendered inoperable. This is the highest figure in the past seven months.

Additionally, in February, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated and struck 1,415 enemy artillery systems. This amount would be sufficient to equip more than 78 artillery divisions (an artillery division in the Russian army consists of 18 guns).

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in February, the Russian army suffered significant irretrievable and sanitary losses of personnel—36,570 individuals. The highest personnel losses for the Russian army occurred in December 2024—48,670.

Let us remind you that Russian occupiers are using their own funds to buy donkeys for transporting ammunition and equipment due to high losses of automotive equipment. Meanwhile, the State Duma hastily stated that the use of animals at the front is a "normal" occurrence.
