Weather forecast for January 11-12: expect colder temperatures and wet snow across Ukraine.

A cold snap is expected in Ukraine over the weekend of January 11-12. Nighttime temperatures will drop to between -1 and -4°C, while daytime highs will range from 0 to +3°C.

The weekend in Ukraine on January 11-12 will bring the first signs of winter cooling. According to meteorologists' forecasts, the air temperature will drop, with most regions of the country expecting nighttime temperatures between 0 and -4 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will fluctuate between -1 and +3 degrees Celsius. This information is reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko.

Specifically, on January 11, relatively warm weather will persist in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine. However, by Sunday, the weather will cool down there as well, with temperatures dropping to typical winter values.

In the upcoming night and morning of January 11, precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow is expected in the northern and central regions of Ukraine. During the day and evening, the most precipitation is anticipated in the eastern part of the country, as well as in some areas of the west. This will further confirm that winter is arriving in full force.

Kiev will also not escape the cold. From January 11-12, nighttime temperatures in the capital will drop to -1 to -4 degrees, while daytime temperatures will range from 0 to +2 degrees. The weather in Kiev will be cloudy, with possible precipitation in the form of wet snow during the night hours. However, on January 11, precipitation will cease during the day, and only on Sunday are light periodic snow showers expected in Kiev.

Next week, cool weather will persist in Ukraine, but no severe frosts are anticipated. It will be a typical Central European winter, with comfortable temperatures for winter walks and active leisure.
