During the night, a Russian kamikaze drone "Shahed" struck a multi-story residential building in Sumy. According to updated reports, at least 4 people have died, and 9 others sustained injuries of varying severity, including one child. The explosion wave destroyed 5 apartments across four floors, damaged 12 balconies, and shattered windows in over 80 units. Additionally, more than 20 vehicles were affected by the blast. Rescue operations and debris removal are currently ongoing.

A mobile invincibility point of the State Emergency Service has been set up, where 85 individuals have already received support. A local authority invincibility point is also operational, allowing the affected to warm up and access necessary aid.
