According to the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the weather in Ukraine from December 24 to 27 will be variable, with frequent precipitation in the western and northern regions, as well as in the highlands of the Carpathians. Tomorrow, December 24, light rain mixed with wet snow is expected in most western and northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia. The rest of the territory will remain dry, although fog may occur overnight and in the first half of the day on the Left Bank.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 3° C above to 2° C below zero, while daytime temperatures are expected to be between 0-5° C. In the southern part of the country, nighttime temperatures will be from 1 to 6° C, and during the day - 5-10°, reaching up to 14° in Crimea. Light snow is also anticipated in the highlands of the Carpathians, with nighttime temperatures dropping to 3-8° C below zero, and daytime temperatures around 0° C.
On Christmas, December 25, it will be snowy in the west and north of Ukraine: light wet snow is expected in the western and northern regions, while moderate snowfall is predicted in the Carpathians. Rain will fall in the south, with no precipitation expected in other regions. On this day, temperatures in Ukraine will vary from 3° C below to 4° C above zero at night, and 0-5° C during the day. In the southern regions, daytime temperatures will reach 5-10°, and up to 12° in Crimea.
On Thursday, December 26, the weather in Ukraine will remain unstable, with rain and wet snow, except for the northern and most western regions. Daytime and nighttime temperatures will fluctuate from 3° C below to 4° C above zero, while southern regions will see temperatures of 1-7° C above zero. In Crimea, daytime temperatures will reach 12° C.
Next week, the wind will be coming from the east and northeast at speeds of 5-12 m/s. In Transcarpathia and the Carpathians, gusts of up to 20 m/s are possible tomorrow, while strong winds will be felt in the southern, eastern, and central regions over the next two days.
