An alert has been declared across Ukraine due to the presence of the MiG-31K.

Due to the ascent of the Russian MiG-31K fighter jet, a heightened missile threat has been declared in Ukraine. An air alert has been issued across the country, and civilians must immediately follow the instructions of the authorities. This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Attention! There is a missile threat across the entire territory of Ukraine! The MiG-31K has taken off. Do not ignore the air alert signal!” the message states.

At 12:10, the command reported the cancellation of the missile threat across Ukraine.

“The missile threat has been lifted in all regions except for Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk. Enemy tactical aviation activity continues in the southeastern direction!” the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.

For reference: The MiG-31K is one of the fastest aircraft capable of carrying hypersonic missiles known as “Dagger,” which can inflict significant damage. As these missiles reach their targets very quickly, it is crucial not to ignore alert signals and to seek shelter in a timely manner.
