In the cell of Tatyana Krupa, the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission, who is suspected of illegal enrichment, a search was conducted. As a result, violations were identified, as mentioned in the ruling on the case.

Employees of the Kyiv detention center found a mobile phone among Krupa's personal belongings. This violates the rules of inmate custody, and therefore the device was confiscated.

"During a selective search of the suspect's personal belongings on 23.12.2024 by the staff of the State Institution 'Kyiv Detention Center,' a mobile phone was discovered and seized, which constitutes a violation of the detention regime," the statement reads.

Tatyana Krupa has been in the Kyiv detention center for almost four months.

Previously, Suspilne. Khmelnytskyi submitted a request regarding her conditions of detention, to which a response clarified why the presence of a mobile phone in the cell is a violation.

The letter specifies that inmates can only use payphones or mobile phones registered with the institution for telephone conversations. To use them, it is necessary to obtain permission from the detention center management and submit a written request indicating the subscriber's details, family connections, and duration of the call.
