The NABU is investigating the income of Deputy Zheleznyak and his wife following their purchase of a luxury apartment.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) is conducting an investigation into the income declarations of People’s Deputies Yaroslav Zheleznyak and Olga Koval to identify potential violations of anti-corruption legislation. This information is available on the official NAPC website, as reported by TSN.

It is worth noting that in August 2023, Yaroslav Zheleznyak and his wife, Deputy Olga Koval, purchased an apartment in the center of Kyiv for approximately 12 million hryvnias. The apartment, which spans 134 square meters, is located in Pechersk and is registered under the name of Vladimir Koval - Zheleznyak's father-in-law and Koval's father.

According to the official declaration, Yaroslav Zheleznyak's annual income as a People’s Deputy is around 660 thousand hryvnias. The value of the apartment is 17 times higher than his annual earnings, which also applies to his wife's income.
