In the Kyiv region, a person lost their life due to a drone attack.

As a result of an enemy drone attack in the Boryspil district, a 60-year-old man was killed at a railway crossing. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional State Administration on the night of Saturday, February 22.   It is noted that the man's death occurred before the arrival of medics.   Additionally, it has been reported that a warehouse facility is on fire in the area due to the enemy attack, and efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing.   "Windows of a residential high-rise building and an educational institution nearby have been damaged," the Regional State Administration stated, promising more information later.   Meanwhile, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that debris from the drone fell in the Solomianskyi district of the capital. A fire broke out on private property, causing destruction.   In turn, the Kyiv City Military Administration added that air defense systems are actively operating in Kyiv and urged residents to stay in shelters until the air raid alert is lifted.   Earlier, it was reported that explosions were heard in Kyiv, and air defense forces are at work.   It is worth noting that last night, air defense forces destroyed 87 out of 160 Russian drones.
