Since the beginning of today, there have been 248 combat engagements. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting significant fire damage. This was noted in the General Staff's report on Tuesday, December 24. In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed our units' positions near Volchansk and Vysoka Yaruha five times. Today, Ukrainian forces destroyed 45 occupiers in this area and wounded another 46, as well as neutralizing 11 UAVs, three vehicles, and three units of the occupier's special equipment. In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor conducted offensive actions near Petropavlivka, Kolesnykivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders halted 15 enemy attacks, with eight still ongoing. In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the defense positions near Druzhlyubivka, Zelenyi Hai, Novoehorivka, Makeivka, Ternovy, Torsk, and towards Hryhorivka 25 times. Four combat engagements are still ongoing. In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled one assault by the occupying forces near Bilohorivka. In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked our positions at Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochky. Defense forces stopped seven attacks from the occupiers, with two combat engagements still continuing. In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor made 15 attempts to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units near Toretsk, Druzhba, and Dachne, with fighting currently ongoing. In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of today, the enemy has attacked 54 times in the areas of Vozdvizhivka, Myrolyubivka, Promen, Lisovka, Novohradska, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Volkov, and Novovasyliivka. Our defenders repelled 47 of the enemy's assault actions, with seven combat engagements still ongoing. Today in this area, preliminary data indicates that 261 occupiers were neutralized, of which 133 are irreversible losses. Additionally, a vehicle and a communication antenna were destroyed. In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy made 34 attempts to breach our defense near the settlements of Petropavlivka, Shevchenko, and around Kurakhove. Twenty-four combat engagements have concluded, with another ten still ongoing. In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attacked our units near Uspenivka, Yantarne, Konstantynivka, Razliv, Razdolne, Novo Komar, Novosilka, Velyka Novosilka, and Storozheve 33 times. Ukrainian warriors repelled 22 of the enemy's assault actions, with fights still ongoing. In the Dnipro direction, the invading forces unsuccessfully attempted twice to dislodge the Defense Forces from their occupied positions. They suffered losses and retreated. The operation in the Kursk region continues. Currently, the Defense Forces have repelled 28 attacks from the invaders, and fighting continues. Meanwhile, there have been no significant changes in other directions. Earlier on Tuesday, the monitoring project DeepState reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine avoided encirclement in the village of Makarivka in the Donetsk region. However, they had to leave this settlement. This information has not yet been officially confirmed. It was also reported today that the Russians have breached the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vremivka direction.
