On the night of March 3, 2025, Russian occupiers launched a massive airstrike on Ukrainian territory, deploying 83 Shahed-type drones and decoy drones from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. This information is reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

To counter the attack, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved.

As of 08:30 AM, the destruction of 46 Shahed strike drones and other types of UAVs has been confirmed across seven regions:

Kharkiv
Poltava
Sumy
Kiev
Chernihiv
Cherkasy
Dnipropetrovsk

There are also reports of the loss of 31 enemy decoy drones without negative consequences.

As a result of the attack, the regions of Kharkiv, Sumy, Kiev, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia were affected.
