The Russian command is sending soldiers into assaults on the left bank of the Kherson region but refuses to retrieve their bodies to avoid compensating the families of the deceased. This was reported by the partisan movement
Atesh on Wednesday, December 25, via Telegram.
Agents of the movement among the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces report on the misconduct of the command of the 61st Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade on the left bank of the Kherson region.
"Commanders are sending people on deadly assaults and then refuse to evacuate their own fallen," the message states.
After one of the assaults, where more than half of a company was killed, the command declined to retrieve their deceased subordinates to avoid paying compensation to the families of the dead.
According to official documents, the soldiers who died on the islands in the Kherson region are classified as "missing in action."
Surviving soldiers are confronting their commanders, questioning why the bodies of their comrades are not being retrieved while boats continue to operate empty.
Partisans note that against the backdrop of losses and such treatment, conflicts with the command are escalating, and instances of sabotage and subversion among the servicemen are increasing.
