In Bila Tserkva, ten individuals involved in the assault of a girl have been identified, with one of them facing charges. Investigative actions are ongoing, and the likely perpetrator, who is 16 years old, is accused of crimes related to torture and extortion. Currently, a petition for preventive measures against him is being considered in the Bila Tserkva city district court. This was reported by Viktor Lugovoy, the head of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police (GNUP) in Kyiv region, during a briefing.

The ages of the other participants in the conflict range from 12 to 16 years, and they are not subject to criminal liability. They remain participants in the events until all necessary investigative actions are completed. The 16-year-old suspect faces a potential sentence of up to 12 years in prison.

"Some may be witnesses. Some may be individuals who committed a socially dangerous act... But this will only be determined once all investigative actions are completed. The fact that they are minors complicates the proceedings," Lugovoy explained.

The head of the investigative department of the GNUP in Kyiv region noted that there are rumors circulating about the parents of the children potentially being linked to government service or law enforcement agencies; however, this information has not been confirmed during the investigation.

Lugovoy also mentioned that the investigation continues to explore the reasons for the conflict and is checking whether the incident is related to drug distribution, but no such facts have been established so far. He stated that if such circumstances are confirmed, law enforcement agencies promise to respond strictly within the framework of the law.
