The U.S. and Ukraine held negotiations overnight regarding a mineral agreement - Media   Ukrainian and U.S. officials negotiated throughout the night until the morning of February 20, attempting to finalize a mineral agreement, Axios reports. The Trump administration sent the latest version of the mineral agreement to Ukraine on the evening of February 20, according to an American official involved in the negotiations. Sources from the publication expressed concern that the U.S.-Ukrainian crisis could worsen if Zelensky rejects the proposal. Trump’s special envoy, Kurt Volker, described his talks with Zelensky and "his talented team" as "positive."   Basic needs of Ukraine in the agreement with the U.S. outlined by the Office of the President   For Ukraine, key aspects of the agreement with the U.S. include proper profit distribution and security guarantees. This was stated by Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the President's Office. "Because we want to achieve higher returns from all of this. Of course, we are interested in attracting investments and having global investors," Podolyak noted, adding that security guarantees must ensure that investments are secured for the long term. Another crucial issue is unconditional security guarantees regarding the end of the war, as such.   Trump issued an ultimatum to Ukraine   U.S. President Donald Trump stated that if Ukraine does not sign a $500 billion mineral access agreement, it will face many problems. Later, media reports indicated that U.S. negotiators, who are pressuring Kyiv regarding minerals, threatened to cut off the country's access to the vital Starlink satellite internet system if the agreement is not signed.   Long-range Trembita missile presented in Kyiv for the first time   The new Ukrainian missile Trembita was showcased for the first time at a defense innovation forum in Kyiv. Developers claim that the missile is capable of reaching Moscow. It is noted that this cruise missile can travel at speeds of up to 400 km/h and has a warhead weighing 20 kilograms.   Gas production in Ukraine has collapsed - Media   Gas production in Ukraine has plummeted by 40% following Russian missile strikes. "When Zelensky said he wasn't invited to the meeting (in Saudi Arabia - ed.), I mean, that was not a priority because he negotiated so poorly," the U.S. President added.   Russia is ready to return frozen assets to Ukraine - Media   Russia may agree to use $300 billion of assets frozen in Europe for the reconstruction of Ukraine but will insist that about $100 billion of that be allocated for the similar reconstruction of occupied Ukrainian regions. This was reported by Reuters, citing sources. According to another source, the agreement regarding frozen assets is under discussion, but the proportions in which Moscow and Kyiv will share the funds have not yet been determined. Meanwhile, Moscow demands accountability for the amounts that Ukraine will use.   A new statement on U.S. weapons made in the Rada   Arms supplies to Ukraine under contracts with American companies are ongoing. This was stated by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, MP Fedor Venislavsky. He clarified that this refers to arms supplies under contracts with American companies.   Trump did what Putin wanted 29 times - Media   In recent weeks, U.S. President Donald Trump did what Putin wanted 29 times. In the last few weeks, Trump and his associates weakened NATO, supported far-right movements in Europe, and announced a trade war with the EU due to "very unfair" treatment of the U.S., according to Politico. The media listed 29 instances where Trump supported Putin during the first month after returning to power.   Press conference for Zelensky announced by the Office of the President   Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a press conference on Sunday.
