The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine has honored the memory of reconnaissance saboteurs who were among the first to bring the war to enemy territory. A group of scouts conducted a deep raid into the territory controlled by the enemy on December 25, 2022. The GUR

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine commemorated the scouts of the Brotherhood unit from the
Timur Special Unit of the GUR, who perished while carrying out a combat mission.
The statement mentions Maksym "Nepiypivo" Mykhailov, Taras "Tarasiy" Karpyuk, Yuriy "Svyatosha" Horovets, and Bohdan "Apollon" Lyahov, who heroically stood against the enemy on Christmas night in 2022.
"Maidan activists, patriots, true heroes of the war for the freedom of the Ukrainian nation, educated, creative, honorable, armed men. Their stories and contributions to the common cause of the fight for Ukraine will serve as a guide for all future generations of defenders of our freedom and statehood," the statement reads.
The GUR reports that on December 25, 2022, a group of scouts conducted a deep raid into the territory controlled by the enemy. Four scouts, upon encountering Russian forces, refused to surrender and engaged in a final battle.
"Eternal glory and honor to the scouts who fell in the war for the freedom of the Ukrainian nation!" the intelligence agency emphasizes.
