Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff: Russian troops conducted airstrikes, dropping 15 KABs on the Kursk region.

As of 16:00 on February 21, 2025, the situation at the front remains tense. Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold their positions and prevent breakthroughs by enemy forces. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Here are the key points of the operational information:

Combat encounters and defensive actions Since the beginning of the day, 53 combat encounters have been recorded along the entire front line. Russian troops are actively employing artillery, particularly shelling areas in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions: Huta-Studenetska, Bachevsk, Volkovka, and Kucherovka have become targets for the aggressor.

Kharkiv Direction

In the Kharkiv direction, no enemy offensive actions have taken place; however, the adversary has carried out airstrikes with unguided rockets on Zolochiv. Defense forces have repelled three assaults in the Kupiansk direction near Zahryzovo. Fighting continues.

Lyman and Kramatorsk Directions

In the Lyman direction, the enemy has launched four attacks in the areas of Kopanky, Novolyubivka, Ternov, and Kolodyaziv, two of which are still ongoing. In the Kramatorsk direction, our military is repelling three attempts by the enemy to advance near Vasyukivka, with battles continuing. Konstantynivka and Chasiv Yar have been subjected to airstrikes.

Toretsk and Pokrovsk Directions

In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops have attacked Ukrainian positions eight times in the areas of Diliivka and Toretsk, with six encounters still ongoing. Airstrikes on Toretsk have also been recorded. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has attacked 14 times in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Sviridivka, and other settlements. One of the combat encounters is still continuing.

Novopavlivsk and Orikhiv Directions

In the Novopavlivsk direction, defense forces have repelled three enemy assaults near Konstantynopil and Burlatsky. In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders have attacked twice in the areas of Shcherbaky and Piatykhatky.

Kursk Direction

The enemy has launched eight attacks in the Kursk direction, as well as 11 airstrikes and over 260 artillery shellings, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.

Other Directions

No active combat actions have been recorded in the Siversk and Dnipro directions. No changes in the situation have occurred in other directions.
