The General Staff reported 97 combat clashes on the front lines.

The Defense Forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the plans of Russian invaders for an offensive and depleting their combat potential. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 97 combat encounters. This was noted in the report from the General Staff on Sunday, March 2.   The enemy launched one missile strike and 62 airstrikes, using four missiles and 62 guided bombs, 869 kamikaze drone attacks, and conducted more than four thousand shellings of our troops' positions.   In the Kharkiv direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled an enemy assault near the settlement of Volchansk. At the same time, the enemy dropped four guided aerial bombs near the settlement of Dovzhik.   The enemy attacked our fortifications three times in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of the settlements of Zahryzovo, Petropavlivka, and Lozova, with one combat engagement still ongoing.   In the Lyman direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders 15 times near Novo, Yampilivka, and Novomykhailivka.   Today, our forces repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Hrihorivka, and Oleksandro-Shultyn in the Kramatorsk direction.   In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers stormed our defenders' positions 14 times near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka today. One combat encounter is still ongoing.   In the Pokrovsk direction, throughout the day, the enemy conducted 18 assault and offensive actions. The highest activity of Russian occupiers was observed in the areas of the settlements of Tarasivka, Luch, Pokrovsk, Kotlyno, Udashne, Kotlyarivka, Andriivka, Vodyane Druhe, and Ulakly, with two combat engagements still ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes with guided bombs on the settlements of Pokrovsk, Hryshyno, Leontovychy, Udashne, Alekseivka, Novopavlivka, and Orekhovo.   According to preliminary estimates, today our warriors eliminated 100 and wounded 83 occupiers in this direction; destroyed one armored combat vehicle, one armored personnel carrier, seven units of automotive equipment, one motorcycle, three mortars, and one cannon, as well as significantly damaged one vehicle, a portable electronic warfare station, and three enemy artillery pieces.   In the Novopavlivsk direction, the invaders made four attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops, attempting to advance in the directions of the settlements of Konstantinopol, Pryvillya, and Skudne. At the same time, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Voskresenka and Yanvarskyi.   In the Huliaipole direction, the aggressor conducted airstrikes in the areas of Huliaipole, Varvarivka, and Zheleznodorozhny.   In the Orekhov direction, two combat encounters occurred in the areas of the settlements of Nesterianka and Novodanylivka.   In the Dniprovsk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders three times.   In the Seversk direction, the enemy did not carry out any active actions since the beginning of the day.   The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue operations in the Kursk direction. Today, Ukrainian warriors repelled 30 attacks from the invading army in this direction; in addition, enemy aviation carried out 14 airstrikes, dropping 23 KABs, and the enemy conducted 398 shellings of settlements and our troops' positions, including 11 from multiple rocket launch systems.   Meanwhile, no significant changes in the situation occurred in other directions.   The General Staff noted the Ukrainian warriors of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol and the 79th Border Detachment, who are steadfastly holding back the invasion of superior enemy forces.   Recall that earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a stock of thermobaric ammunition of the Russians in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region near Selydove.   The Air Forces struck an enemy command-observation post in Zaporizhzhia.
