The enemy applied the most pressure in the past 24 hours, on January 12, at the Pokrovsk direction. A total of 140 combat incidents occurred at the front. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on their Facebook page.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched four attacks in the areas of the settlements of Volchansk and Kazachya Lopanya.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks near Petropavlivka and Pyschany.
In the Lyman direction, 12 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Kopanky, Sheikivka, Pervomaiske, Makeivka, Tverdokhlebovo, Terny, and Zarechne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, 15 combat encounters were recorded in the areas of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochki.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 13 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Belya Hora, and Shcherbinivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked 58 times in the areas of the settlements of Yelizavetivka, Lisovka, Zelenoye, Luch, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, and beyond.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces nine times near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Neskuchne, Vremivka, and Rovnopil. The enemy's aviation was actively operating in the area.
In the Dniprovsk direction, the enemy attempted one unsuccessful assault.
In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks.
Earlier, the press officer of the military commandant's office in the Kursk region, Oleksiy Dmytrashkovskyi, stated that Russian troops killed at least 36 of their own citizens in the Kursk region while continuously striking the AFU.
