Following a recent large-scale cyberattack from Russia, the operations of all key services on the Unified State Register (USR) portal have been restored. This portal, which provides access to vital information and administrative services, is once again available to citizens and government bodies. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
Among the primary services that have been restored are free information searches in the register, generating extracts from the registers, obtaining results of administrative services via access codes, and enabling government bodies to access information through access identifiers.
This is particularly important for every citizen, as stable access to government services and the ability to carry out operations in the registers are essential for effective interaction with the authorities.
Experts from the State Enterprise "NAIS," in close collaboration with the Cyber Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Special Communications, and the Cyber Police, are actively working to enhance the security of the registers. Thanks to their efforts, users can be assured of the stable operation of services in the future.
Additionally, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reported the completion of the process of transferring civil status records from paper forms into the State Register of Civil Status Acts. This is an important step in ensuring convenience for Ukrainians when dealing with the registration authorities.
We remind you that the Ministry of Justice resumed the operations of the USR after the cyberattack: what new services are now available. As of January 9, 2025, the Unified State Register will resume operations following the large-scale cyberattack from Russia.
