Volunteers under 25 can earn a million, but certain conditions must be met, according to the Ministry of Defense.

Young servicemen serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine can receive up to one million hryvnias through the program.
Минобороны сообщает, что добровольцы до 25 лет могут получить 1 миллион, но для этого необходимо выполнить определенные условия.

Young servicemen under 25 years old who are already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine can receive one million hryvnias through a program similar to the "Contract 18-24" initiative. However, several conditions must be met, as reported in a press release by the Ministry of Defense, according to Telegraph.

The agency specified that signing contracts for this age group is voluntary, and additional benefits have been proposed to attract motivated citizens.

"The financial package consists of a one-time cash assistance of one million hryvnias, which is paid in three installments. The first installment – 200 thousand hryvnias – is provided immediately after signing the contract. This initial support enables volunteers to begin their service. The second installment – 300 thousand hryvnias – is paid within five working days after completing basic training. The third installment – 500 thousand hryvnias – is given on the day of removal from the military unit's personnel list upon completion of the contract," – the statement reads.

Additionally, servicemen will receive a salary that is separate from these payments and can earn up to 120 thousand hryvnias monthly.

"This includes basic pay, additional monetary compensation, which is supplemented by combat bonuses and depends on the conditions of task execution," – the agency added.

Those who signed a contract before turning 25, prior to the enactment of the relevant government decree, may also expect to receive one million hryvnias, provided they hold the positions of private, sergeant major, or sergeant.

The main conditions to qualify for the reward include participating in combat operations for at least 6 months and having no disciplinary violations, criminal, or administrative offenses. The reward is also available for those who could not meet the participation terms due to injuries or captivity.

"This is fair, as many people went to defend their homeland earlier, before these contracts were introduced," – the press service explained.

We remind you that new services for veterans and families of fallen defenders have appeared in "Diia." Veterans with disabilities and families of fallen defenders can register their status online through "Diia" in just a few minutes without queues and bureaucracy.
