Zelensky stated that a peace agreement to end the war is still far off.

Kyiv requires security guarantees that would completely prevent any possibility of renewed aggression from Russia.
Зеленский заявил, что до мирного соглашения о завершении войны еще далеко.
The war with Russia is far from over, and any peace agreement must be fair and include clear security guarantees. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Sky News on Sunday, March 2.     During his conversation with British journalists, the Ukrainian president emphasized that a ceasefire agreement must be "honest," "just," and "stable." It should also include specific security guarantees that make further aggression from Russia impossible.   Zelensky categorically rejected the possibility of any territorial concessions and stressed that Ukraine will never recognize the occupied territories as part of Russia.   "Ukraine will never recognize the territories occupied by Russia. For us, this is a temporary occupation. Our lands and our values are not for sale. Our freedoms are not for sale," he asserted.   Previously, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a statement following the conclusion of the summit in London, announcing a new meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump regarding a peace agreement for Ukraine.   Recall that on February 28, a heated exchange took place in the Oval Office between the presidents of Ukraine and the U.S. Trump accused Zelensky of "gambling with World War III," among other things.   World media reported being shocked by the public dispute between Trump and Zelensky. According to journalists, they had never seen anything like it in the White House, and this exchange is an extraordinary event in the world of diplomacy.
