The United Kingdom is "positively considering" the idea of deploying foreign troops in Ukraine. This was stated by President Vladimir Zelensky during a telethon on Thursday, January 9, following a meeting in the Ramstein format.   The head of state noted that this issue will be discussed during the visit of the Kingdom's Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Ukraine.   According to Zelensky, the initiative to place foreign troops could become part of security guarantees for Ukraine.   "Certainly, one contingent from some countries will not be sufficient. I believe that is not enough. However, it can indeed be a significant component of future security guarantees for Ukraine," the president explained.   The head of state reported that the British are "looking positively" at such an initiative, but he will discuss the details with the country's Prime Minister. He added that there are already "very serious decisions" between the countries, but he promised to provide details on this matter "a bit later."   Earlier, it was reported that more than half of the residents of Germany support the idea of sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine in the event of a truce with Russia.   Peacekeepers from EU countries: will Europe support Ukraine
