She shared this information on the "Znai.ua" channel.

“Pensioners aged 70 to 74 receive an additional payment to their pension of up to 300 UAH, those aged 75 to 79 receive up to 456 UAH, and pensioners who are 80 years old or older receive an additional payment of up to 570 UAH. However, as usual, there are many nuances. Well, we never have things without nuances, right?” - notes Ekaterina Kotenko.

According to her, these additional payments do not apply to individuals whose pension exceeds 10,340.35 UAH, which frustrates many people because a person may have honestly earned such a pension throughout their life, yet the legal age supplement is not granted. As the journalist explains for Politeka, if your pension is, for example, 10,300 UAH and you have already reached 70 years of age, you will only receive an additional 40 UAH so that the total pension amount reaches 10,340 UAH, not exceeding that, as there will be further restrictions.

The amount of 10,340 UAH, she explains, is based on the salary for 2020, which was specified in the decree when these supplements were first established. Therefore, the journalist adds for Politeka, it is more accurate to say "up to 300 UAH" rather than "a supplement of 300 UAH," since it could be less.

“I honestly do not rule out that as a result of future reforms, such supplementary payments may completely disappear. For now, they exist, but later, I believe, they simply will not be because the current Ministry of Social Policy complains that there are many unnecessary supplements they wish to eliminate through reform. Although these supplements were initially established for people, this often happens: they give – then they take away,” - warns Ekaterina Kotenko.

As reported by Politeka, Karasev stated that the mere fact of the deal regarding rare earth metals is already a guarantee of security.

Politeka also reported that Musiienko stated that Trump will help return the occupied territories to Ukraine.
