Participants of combat operations (CBO) are entitled to social benefits from the government, provided they have the appropriate identification.
According to Article 115 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance," combat operation participants (COP) are eligible for early retirement benefits.
The pension amount for CBO participants is calculated based on the duration of their accrued insurance experience and the earnings on which insurance contributions were made.
Upon retirement based on their insurance experience, military pensioners receive a minimum of 15,000 hryvnias or more.
In particular, according to legislation, pensions for combat operation participants are increased by 25% of the subsistence minimum for individuals who have lost their ability to work;
targeted social assistance for CBO participants for living expenses in the amount of 40 hryvnias;
state pension assistance, if the pension amount does not exceed 4,958 hryvnias.
Pensions or lifelong monetary support or state social payments for CBO participants, which are paid instead of a pension, are increased by 25% of the subsistence minimum for individuals who have lost their ability to work.
Local authorities also provide assistance to CBO participants, military personnel, and individuals affected by the war, as well as their families.
Payments for Independence Day in Ukraine are received once a year, and in 2024, the amount was 1,000 hryvnias.
One-time assistance for the demobilization of military personnel.
Financial aid during temporary disability for CBO participants.
