The amount of future pension payments in Ukraine depends on several key factors that every Ukrainian should pay attention to.
This was reported by the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Poltava region.
The size of future pensions is directly influenced by two main factors: insurance experience and the total amount of paid insurance contributions (ESV).
The duration of insurance experience affects the right to retire by age and the amount of payments.
The total amount of contributions paid: the higher the official salary on which ESV is paid, the higher the future pension. "Envelope" payments or unofficial employment do not count towards pension experience, which can significantly reduce pension payments.
Every Ukrainian citizen can remotely track their accrued salary, ESV payments, and insurance experience through:
- The website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine,
- The mobile application "Pension Fund."
To log in, one must authenticate via KEP, ID.GOV.UA, or Diia.Signature. After authentication, it is possible to:
- Check your experience and salary in the sections "My Salary" and "My Insurance Experience"
- Obtain official certificates (OK-5, OK-7) in the section “Communications with
- PFU” – “Request for Electronic Documents”

If there are not enough months or years of experience for retirement, it can be officially purchased. The cost of one year of insurance experience is 21,000 UAH, and the minimum monthly contribution is 1,760 UAH.
