According to J.B. Perrette, head of global streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery, fans will be able to watch the series "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" in February.
The executive shared this news at a tech and media conference organized by Wells Fargo, alongside the planned spring 2025 premiere of the second season of "The Last of Us," the late 2025 launch of the "Game of Thrones" prequel "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms", and the anticipated debut of the third season of "Euphoria" in 2026.
Although Perrette mentioned that "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" would be released in the summer, it is more likely to be titled for the fourth quarter.
The series "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" will tell the story of the adventures of knight Dunk and his squire Egg, traveling through Westeros 100 years before the events of "Game of Thrones."
The main roles in the series "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" are played by Peter Claffey (Dunk) and Dexter Son Ansel (Egg), with the cast also including Finn Bennett (Aeryon Targaryen), Bertie Carvel (Baylor Targaryen), Tanzin Crawford (Tansell), and Daniel Ings as Sam Spruell (Maekar Targaryen).
The "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" series has a significantly smaller budget compared to "House of the Dragon" or "Game of Thrones."
George Martin stated that "90% of the events of the series 'Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' will take place in a field with tents," but he added that the sets turned out to be remarkable.
