Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Air Force officer Jahara Matisek, with the call sign "Frankie," believes that the war in Ukraine will continue for a long time.
The officer responded to a question about how close the world is to the end of the war in Ukraine if newly elected President Trump does not intervene.
"I see this lasting another three years," Matisek shared his opinion.
Matisek also believes that Russia will not use nuclear weapons in the near future.
"Russians can talk, they can rattle their sabers about this as much as they want, but in the end, it will actually do more harm to the Russian military machine. It will cause them even greater damage; it will make them even more isolated," said U.S. Air Force officer Jahara Matisek.
According to the lieutenant colonel, one of the very important changes that Putin made to the nuclear doctrine is that now any attack on Belarus will be considered an attack on Russia.

Experts believe that the end of the war in Ukraine should not be expected in 2024, so hostilities will continue into 2025.
Military analysts also consider the possibility of a new counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as political events that could impact the war in Ukraine.
There are also discussions about possible negotiations with Russia.
