Average salary in Ukraine: As of February 2025, the average salary in Ukraine is 23,000 UAH - an 18% increase compared to 2024. For comparison, we will use this average figure.
Bosnia and Herzegovina: Monthly expenses per person in Bosnia and Herzegovina amount to 24,579 UAH, which is nearly equivalent to the average salary in Ukraine. Rent here is 24% cheaper, allowing for savings. However, finding a good job can be challenging without language skills, although freelance opportunities are plentiful.
