Zelensky harshly criticized Tucker Carlson.

Tucker Carlson stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a dictator due to his alleged ban on religious beliefs and the Russian language.
Зеленский резко осудил Такера Карлсона.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has sharply criticized propagandist Tucker Carlson, who interviewed Russian dictator Putin and consistently spreads narratives of Russian propaganda. This was stated by the Ukrainian leader in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan on Tuesday, February 4.     According to him, Carlson deliberately disseminates Russian propaganda and misleads people.   "I think he needs to understand what is happening in Ukraine and stop working for Putin, stop licking his backside," the president stated.   Additionally, he responded to Carlson's accusations that Christian denominations, particularly the Moscow Patriarchate, are being persecuted in Ukraine. The president emphasized that the Moscow Patriarchate was excluded from the Council of Churches of Ukraine by the decision of the religious institutions themselves, meaning without government influence.   In February 2024, Carlson interviewed Vladimir Putin. This was the first conversation the Russian president had with a Western journalist since the full-scale invasion began. Putin, among other things, accused the West of the war. Previously, Carlson claimed that he allegedly received permission for an interview with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to him, his attempts to secure this interview lasted two years, particularly intensifying after the interview with the head of the Russian regime, Vladimir Putin, in February of this year.   Later, Carlson stated that the Kremlin is trying to demonize Ukrainians by labeling them as Nazis, calling the so-called "denazification," which Russia uses to justify its war against Ukraine, "the dumbest thing."
