President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his confidence in establishing cooperation with the team of the newly elected 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump. He also confirmed the planned visit of the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, to the United States for negotiations. He made this announcement at a press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen in Kyiv on Tuesday, November 19. Zelensky is optimistic about "establishing processes" with Trump's team. "I have had contacts with President Trump. I believe in direct communication between presidents. As for the team, they have their own contacts... Regarding the establishment of processes between our teams, I am confident that they will happen. As for the trip, the mission of the head of my Office to the U.S. will take place," the president stated. Earlier, Zelensky suggested that under the administration of the newly elected U.S. president Donald Trump, the war waged by Russia against Ukraine may come to an end more swiftly.
