A meeting with the elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, depends on various factors, particularly the legitimacy of its conduct. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the 3rd International Conference on Food Security Grain from Ukraine on Saturday, November 23.

"I do not know when the meetings will take place, I have no information, the teams are working. It depends on many things, not just schedules; it depends on the legitimacy of the respective meetings. If we want meetings where certain issues are resolved, then they must certainly be appropriate, and these legislative possibilities will arise after the inauguration. If we have any meetings prepared, they might happen before the inauguration," the head of state said.

At the same time, Zelensky emphasized that it is crucial not to allow "certain waves or entourages to create discord between the President of Ukraine and the President of the United States" before the meeting.

"This is very important, as there are many who wish to do so," – noted the president.

Recall that earlier the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the dialogue between Zelensky and Trump is already established. Teams will begin organizing their meeting. The president believes that the new U.S. leader desires a swift end to the war, but this could mean losses for Ukraine.
